Schools of Higher Vocational Training (SAEK) form part of post-secondary, non-compulsory education and deliver officially recognised training outside the graded tertiary framework, admitting upper-secondary school graduates according to the specialisations they offer.
Prestige Telis Kikeris is a specialist SAEK dedicated to hairdressing, awarding a recognised Level 5 diploma accredited by the Ministry of Education.
The SAEK Barber programme is the first specialised course built around the art of men’s hairdressing, leading to a state diploma and a professional practice licence.
Across four semesters of training and one semester of work placement in a barbershop or salon, students master every hairdressing service, with the emphasis firmly on the demands of modern barbering.
On completion, graduates can obtain their licence through the EOPPEP certification examinations, opening the way to a distinguished career of their own.
